A working tribute

Created by Nikki 4 years ago

I have worked with Carol for the past 17 years, without sounding like I am writing her school report. Let me give you an insight of Carols day to day life. Carol would describe herself as 'Old School,' her work ethic was second to none. Carol was a real grafter she was committed, reliable hard working and loyal. Until the later months was never off sick, even then as ill as she was pushed herself to come to work.

She loved her job at Enfield Skips, like anywhere she had good times and bad. The good times always weighed out the bad. Together over the years, we shared such happy times we laughed together, and occasionally cried. We used to chat for hours about everything but the 2 things that always stand out, is when she talks about her David, just talking about him used to light up her face. He was her world , they lived a full and happy life together and made amazing memories. The other was her boys, she was so proud of each and every one of them, Carol was always so comforted that they all settled with lovely partners and together gave her all her Grand Children whom she adored. She always loved that all her son's referred to her as 'Mother Dear.'

After 21 years of service to Enfield Skips, Carol's presents will be sorely missed by myself and all of her colleagues.

Carol you were so brave, I truly admire your strength. I hope you are now free from pain and your spirit is flying high.

Rest In Peace Carol

Love Nikki (Enfield Skips)
